Lego has unveiled new tyres made with over 30% recycled materials, including fishing nets, ropes, and engine oil. This move is part of its ambitious plan to transition to renewable and recycled materials by 2032. The tyres, which maintain Lego’s signature quality, are already in select sets, with a full rollout expected by year-end.

Beyond tyres, Lego is scaling up bio-based plastics and recycled resins, with 30% of its raw materials set to come from renewable sources by mid-2024. This strategy is a playbook for businesses looking to integrate sustainability into product design without compromising on performance.
