Minneapolis-based filtration products manufacturer Donaldson Company has published its fiscal year 2025 Sustainability Report, detailing measurable progress across climate, workplace safety, and community investment as part of its Filtration for a Thriving Future strategy.
As reported by Business Wire, the report tracks performance against Donaldson's 2030 Sustainability Ambitions, with Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions reduced by more than 23,000 metric tonnes of CO2 equivalent since FY21, a reduction exceeding 20% against the baseline year. Renewable energy use has grown by more than 80% over the same period, with renewables now accounting for 9% of total energy consumption. A further 154 energy efficiency projects delivered approximately 6,200 MWh in annual energy savings.
Rich Lewis, President and CEO, said: "Our FY25 progress reflects how our global teams are embedding sustainability into the way we design products, operate our facilities, and partner with customers creating solutions that support a cleaner world and stronger business performance."
On workplace safety, the company recorded its lowest companywide injury and lost-workday incident rates in five years, with 20 sites operating injury-free for the full year.
Product innovation with sustainability applications advanced across several fronts, including filtration solutions that reduce hydraulic oil use, support circularity in semiconductor manufacturing, and enable next-generation electric and clean-energy technologies.
Community investment totalled $1.79 million (approximately €1.52 million) in global support through corporate giving and Donaldson Foundation grants. The company's sustainability strategy aligns with six United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Founded in 1915, Donaldson operates across more than 150 locations on six continents, serving industries spanning mobile solutions, industrial solutions, and life sciences.
