UK leads Europe in EV sales but policy gaps risk stalling momentum

A lack of financial incentives, confusing taxation, and lingering concerns about charging infrastructure are dampening consumer uptake—especially as the 2030 petrol and diesel ban approaches.

While range anxiety is largely outdated, affordability remains a key barrier.
