Technology company Schneider Electric has partnered with Ayala Land, one of Southeast Asia's leading sustainable real estate developers, to strengthen ESG reporting capabilities across the Philippine company's diverse property portfolio using the Resource Advisor energy and sustainability intelligence platform.
As reported by Schneider Electric, the platform will support Ayala Land in centralising and automating ESG data collection across hundreds of sites and business units, improving consistency, reporting readiness, and progress tracking toward its sustainability priorities, which include emissions reduction, zero landfilled waste, and the continued rollout of green-certified property developments.
Robert Lao, Chief Sustainability Officer of Ayala Land, said: "As we continue strengthening our sustainability management approach, digital tools play an important role in making our ESG data more structured, comparable, and decision-useful over time."
Ireen Catane, Country President of Schneider Electric Philippines, said: "Our goal is to support companies across the country in strengthening their digital and operational foundations, so they can meet evolving regulatory requirements and achieve their sustainability targets."
Resource Advisor addresses three core reporting challenges for Ayala Land: compliance and reporting excellence through auditable data trails aligned with global ESG standards; energy and operational efficiency through improved visibility into resource consumption; and digital sustainability enablement through dashboards and scalable data infrastructure for enterprise-level sustainability management.
Schneider Electric has been recognised twice as the World's Most Sustainable Company by TIME Magazine and Statista in 2024 and 2025. The company has helped customers avoid 729 million tonnes of CO2 since 2018, expanded green electricity access to over 60 million people since 2009, and reduced emissions across its top 1,000 suppliers by 53% since 2020.
The partnership positions Ayala Land to build a more scalable and standardised sustainability data foundation as regulatory expectations around ESG disclosure continue to tighten across Southeast Asia's real estate sector.
