New €100,000 grants scheme to boost circular living in Mayo and beyond

Circular.ie has launched a €100,000 national grants scheme to empower communities advancing the circular economy, with more than 40 awards available. Eligible Mayo organisations—including community groups, non-profits, and mission-driven small businesses—can apply for two funding streams: €1,000 for communications campaigns or €5,000 plus expert mentorship to scale visibility and impact.

The initiative, funded through the Circular Economy Fund, aims to amplify local efforts such as reuse, repair, upcycling, and sharing schemes. By supporting communications and awareness, the scheme seeks to bring more people into the circular movement and strengthen sustainable living at community level.
