NEO Corporate Public Company Limited (NEO), a leading Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company in Thailand, has achieved a major sustainability milestone.

Its subsidiary, NEO Factory Co., Ltd., was awarded Green Industry Level 5 (GI5) certification – the highest level granted by the Thai Ministry of Industry.

Out of over 64,500 enterprises nationwide, only 95 achieved this top-level recognition in 2025, representing 0.16% of total factories, with NEO Factory among only five in Pathum Thani province to earn the distinction.

The certification reflects NEO’s systematic approach to elevating environmental performance across all business dimensions. NEO’s CEO, Suthidej Thakolsri, stated that continuous commitment to sustainability had underpinned the achievement.

He explained that the company had strengthened its green supply chain, extended environmental management practices to partners and allies, and engaged communities and consumers to foster an industrial ecosystem aligned with sustainable principles.

Thakolsri further highlighted NEO’s future sustainability targets, which include increasing recycled material use to 100%, raising green energy usage to 40%, and cutting greenhouse gas emissions by 20% by 2030. The company has set a long-term goal of becoming a Net Zero organisation by 2050.

The Green Industry programme, established by Thailand’s Ministry of Industry, aims to drive industrial operations toward environmental and social responsibility. It encourages resource efficiency, sustainable production and consumption, and responsible practices across the supply chain, helping companies coexist sustainably with local communities and the environment.

NEO’s GI5 recognition underscores its leadership in embedding green practices within both internal operations and its wider network of partners. By achieving measurable environmental outcomes while promoting sustainable practices across its value chain, NEO sets a benchmark for Thai industry.
