Meet Two Sustainability Trailblazers Behind the Green Awards 2025 Judging Panel
As the Green Awards 2025 continues to spotlight Ireland’s most inspiring sustainability success stories, it's only fitting to turn the spotlight on the individuals behind the scenes—the expert judging panel whose insights and values shape these prestigious honours. Among them are two standout sustainability champions, each bringing decades of innovation, impact, and leadership to the table: Daragh Anglim and Jan Peter Bergkvist.
Daragh Anglim — Head of Impact, Broadlake
Daragh Anglim is a changemaker with a clear mission: scale up success and multiply impact. As Head of Impact at Broadlake, a proudly B Corp Certified group of entrepreneurial businesses, Daragh leads the charge in delivering Broadlake’s bold vision: “3X10X – three times the size, ten times the positive impact.”
With over 4,000 employees across seven international businesses, spanning sectors from Healthcare and Technology to FMCG and Workplace Wellbeing, Broadlake is committed to long-term sustainable growth. Daragh’s role focuses on building the structures and culture that enable people to thrive, while ensuring that positive impact is embedded into every layer of business performance.
His passion for sustainable leadership and measurable social value made him an invaluable voice in selecting this year’s award-winning organisations.
Jan Peter "JP" Bergkvist — Sustainability Advisor & Owner, SleepWell AB
With more than three decades of hands-on sustainability leadership, Jan Peter Bergkvist—fondly known as JP—brings a wealth of global experience to the Green Awards judging panel. As the founder of SleepWell AB, JP has worked as a senior advisor, author, speaker, and thought leader in sustainable business practices, particularly within the hospitality sector.
His impressive career includes:

- Author of multiple industry-standard books, including Sustainability in Practice, the ISO 20121 guidebook, and The Textile Challenge
- Ongoing roles with Ecolabelling Sweden, SIWI, and the Stockholm Water Prize Founders Council
JP is not only shaping sustainable business, but also restoring biodiversity through a hands-on sustainability project in southern France—an initiative that exemplifies his passion for local action with global resonance.
