Judges delivered a clear and comprehensive verdict, saying "John Paul Construction demonstrated leadership across carbon reduction, digital innovation, circular construction, and governance, supported by independently verified data and clear year-on-year performance improvements.”

“The use of hybrid power, modern methods of construction, and a strong transition pathway toward Net Zero showed sustainability embedded across the organisation rather than confined to individual projects. Backed by visible senior leadership support, robust culture, and industry recognition through multiple certifications and awards, this was a comprehensive and compelling example of construction leadership fit for the future," the panel stated.

As the Green Awards near their two-decade milestone, John Paul Construction joins a cohort of green awards winners demonstrating that Ireland's construction sector is capable of leading the transition to a low-carbon built environment when ambition, measurement, and cultural commitment are properly aligned.
