Honda sets course for transformation through product lifecycle strategy

Honda is rethinking the entire product lifecycle as it targets 100 per cent sustainable material usage by 2050. The company is dividing its roadmap into two phases — building capabilities and circular business models through the early 2030s, then realising large-scale transformation and innovative technology deployment in the late 2030s.

Collaboration beyond Honda’s core business is central to the plan, with partnerships across material, component and parts manufacturers designed to accelerate circular business models and expand future growth areas ahead of competitors.
