Greencoat Renewables and Keppel DC REIT have struck a second 10-year deal to power Keppel’s Dublin data centres entirely with wind energy—five years ahead of Keppel’s 2030 target. The agreement locks in 100% of the output from Greencoat’s Ballincollig wind farm, part of a broader strategy that now sees the firm delivering 540 GWh of renewable power annually across six PPAs.

This move highlights a critical shift: as legacy tariffs fall away, asset re-contracting is becoming central to long-term clean energy planning. With data centres set to anchor future economic growth, this partnership underscores the commercial value of aligning digital infrastructure with decarbonisation.

Clean energy isn’t just an environmental goal—it’s fast becoming a business imperative.
