Galetech Group has been confirmed as Gold Sponsor of the Green Awards 2027, lending its renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure expertise to Ireland's longest-running sustainability recognition programme ahead of the awards gala on 23 February at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road.
A leading Irish-owned renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure company with more than 25 years of experience, Galetech Group is headquartered in County Cavan and operates internationally, delivering integrated solutions across wind, solar, battery energy storage, engineering, construction, and asset management.
Combining technical expertise with innovative thinking, the Group supports clients throughout the full project lifecycle — from development and engineering through to construction and long-term asset management — with a clear focus on driving decarbonisation, strengthening energy resilience, and supporting the transition to a more sustainable future.
In a green business landscape where the shift away from fossil fuels is no longer a future ambition but an operational imperative, Galetech Group's breadth of capability across the renewable energy spectrum positions it as one of Ireland's most consequential contributors to the sustainability transition.
Its sponsorship of the Green Awards 2027 reflects a natural alignment between the company's mission and the values that Ireland's premier sustainability recognition programme has championed since 2008.
The Green Awards 2027 recognises outstanding achievement across 32 categories spanning the full breadth of Ireland's sustainability landscape, from Green Business of the Year, Green Leader, and ESG Best Performer of the Year to sector-specific awards covering energy, construction, food and beverage, life sciences, logistics and transport, retail, healthcare, and technology.
Entries are assessed by an independent judging panel coordinated by Padraig Ryan of Navitise Consulting and Daragh Anglim of Broadlake, and drawn from senior figures spanning green political economy, circular economy innovation, ESG strategy, and sustainability advocacy.
The entry deadline is 30 October 2026, with the awards gala taking place on 23 February 2027 at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road.
