The recognition highlights the company’s unwavering commitment to helping Ireland decarbonise one of its largest emissions sectors energy through innovation, collaboration, and community engagement.

A young and agile company, FuturEnergy Ireland continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible in renewable energy. Its projects not only advance sustainability and efficiency but also deliver meaningful benefits at local, regional, and national levels.

The judging panel praised the company’s “exceptional green practices, supported by a robust strategy, measurable outcomes, and well-defined future objectives.” 

Judges also highlighted pioneering initiatives such as national school engagement programmes and the Generation Change project, which showcase the company’s deep-rooted commitment to education, innovation, and long-term environmental impact.

As the spotlight now shifts to 2026, the Green Awards enter their 18th year as Ireland’s foremost platform for recognising organisations driving real progress in sustainability and environmental innovation. Since 2008, the awards have celebrated companies whose vision and leadership inspire lasting change across every sector.

Entries for the Green Awards 2026 will close on 12 November 2025. This event will bring together Ireland’s sustainability leaders for an evening dedicated to celebrating progress, purpose, and impact.
