Ecolab is tackling this head-on. By embedding AI into its own operations, it’s helping data centres conserve water without compromising profitability. Their goal? To save 300 billion gallons annually by 2030 — enough for a billion people.

The company’s partnership with Digital Realty brings AI-powered water optimisation to 35 US data centres, setting a precedent for global adoption and reinforcing the business case for sustainable digital infrastructure.
